Spiced Ground Beef and Pine Nut Siniyah

Finely dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and toast the pine nuts for 3 minutes until golden, then remove and set aside.

Add the onions to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.

Add the ground beef, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon for 7 minutes until browned.

Stir in the tomato paste and garlic, cooking for another 3 minutes until fragrant.

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley.

Top the beef mixture with the toasted pine nuts and serve immediately with warm pita bread or rice.
