Glazed Brown Sugar and Mustard Baked Ham

Preheat your oven to 165°C and place the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.

Pour 120ml of water into the bottom of the pan and cover the ham tightly with aluminum foil to trap moisture.

Bake the ham for 1 hour and 15 minutes, until the thickest part reads about 50°C.

Whisk together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl until smooth.

Remove the foil, brush the glaze liberally over the entire surface of the ham, and press the whole cloves into the intersections of the slices.

Return the ham to the oven uncovered and bake for another 30 minutes, basting with the pan juices every 10 minutes, until the glaze is dark amber and the thickest part reads 60°C.

Remove from the oven and let the meat rest for 15 minutes before carving to ensure the juices redistribute throughout the slices.
