Is Riff.kitchen free?
Yes! The Pantry Management, Food Scanner, Text-Based Recipe Generation, and basic Meal Planning are 100% free. We want to help everyone reduce food waste.

What is Live Cooking Mode?
It's a hands-free voice assistant. Once you select a recipe, tap 'Start Live Cooking'. You can ask the AI to 'Read the next step', 'Set a timer', or even 'Repeat that' without touching your screen with messy hands.

Can free users generate food images?
No. AI image generation is a premium feature exclusive to Chef's Pass subscribers. Pro members receive 30 image credits every month included in their plan, and can purchase additional credit packs if they run out. Free users cannot purchase or use image credits.
